For those business groups joining CSA by September 30, 2008, Founding Members will receive:

  • Free membership in the Corporate Sustainability Alliance, and Founding Member status in perpetuity.

  • A better understanding of best practices, through case studies and reports on what your peers are doing to create new, real value for their members
  • Easy, complete access to www.CSAnow.org, and the planned social networking site that will be part of it.  This is a great way to share information with your peers

  • Admission to the Knowledge Center during the SustainPro event where you will find experts in a variety of operational areas of sustainability
  • Invitation to a very special networking event with your peers at the Founders’ Reception
  • Special CSA Non-Profit Education Session at the event
  • CSA organizations that will help promote the SustainPro event to their members will also receive:
    • Free SustainPro Conference & Expo registrations for up to three organizational staff members
    • A $75 discount for each of your members registering for the event
    • A $100 contribution to your association for each member of your organization registered and attending the event, courtesy of the SustainPro Conference & Expo
    • Free tabletop exhibit (if you wish) in the SustainPro Expo for your organization
    • Free meeting room space during the Conference where you can hold meetings of your members, board or special committees to discuss the latest sustainability initiatives and processes. SustainPro Conference & Expo

To support the launch of the CSA, we have obtained exclusive special pricing for the SustainPro Conference & Expo, CSA members who agree to promote the event to their members gain the greatest advantages.  The regular Conference registration fee of $495 will be discounted by $75, for all of your members, to $420 (Early Bird rates to CSANow.org members are $320 until September 12). Your Organization will receive an additional $100 contribution per paid, attending registrant after the show to support your marketing efforts.

CSA members will make their members aware of the event and encourage them to attend (see Agreement below).  Holding a meeting of one of your committees, or board at the conference is another great way to support the event.  Founding members who promote the SustainPro event as described above will be able to generate a good deal of non-dues revenue, all courtesy of the SustainPro organizers.

Agreement for Association Promotional Activities

In order to obtain the benefits  outlined above, many provided as a courtesy by SustainPro Conference
& Expo, the following promotional activities are required of the Founding Member associations who wish to participate in this program:

  1. Announce that you are joining CSA to your members through your organization’s medium of choice 4
  2. Agree to promote the SustainPro event to your members a minimum of twice (2X) between now and the end of September.  This can be accomplished through your e-newsletters with a link to the event website, using your print publications, a special announcement to your members, etc.
  3. Provide CSA with your press list so that CSA can send a release to your media outlets celebrating your joining CSA as a Founding Member
  4. Send one to three representatives of your management team to the SustainPro event (with no registration fees)
  5. OPTIONAL:  Host a tabletop exhibit in the SustainPro Expo at no charge
  6. OPTIONAL: Hold a meeting of your leadership at the SustainPro event (at no charge) - a great way for your organization’s leadership to come together around the issue of sustainability.
